Update: 12/15/17: Check out pictures from this year's Hour of Code with Mrs. Dyer!

Here at Woodbury, the students engage in the Hour of Code. It is always so much fun! Each student has his/her own account, and they are highly encouraged to continue their coding tutorials at home. The tutorials would be a great activity to work on during winter break. To access their accounts, students will need to:

  • Visit Mrs. Dyer's code.org homepage (please note: student accounts will not be ready until after December 6th)
  • Click on your student name.
  • Enter in the secret image code. (secret image codes will be given to students after December 6th)

The Hour of Code is an annual event that takes place during Computer Science Education Week (December 4-10). This event highlights why "every student should have the opportunity to learn computer science. It helps nurture problem solving skills, logic and creativity. By starting early, students will have a foundation for cussess in any 21st-century career path," (hourofcode.com).
