Room 14 said goodbye to our student teacher, Ms. Chae. Although we are sad to see her go, we know she will be such a great addition to her next student teaching placement. Ms. Chae was surprised by the gift basket of donated books, handwritten thank you letters, and the video compilation of students sharing their well wishes.
Thank you to all of the Room 14 families who donated books for Ms. Chae’s book basket. It will be a great jumpstart to her future classroom library. I forgot to take a picture of how many books we collected, but we filled up a large box!
As a goodbye gift for the students, Ms. Chae thoughtfully and carefully hand-drew a lined paper design on 28 gift bags, with written notes, and special goodies stuffed inside. She also made personalized bead name keychains for every student!
We will miss her a great deal, but we wish Ms. Chae all the very best in her future teaching career. Perhaps you'll see her back on campus here at Woodbury one day!
