We had such a great last week of school! We had a day of fun game rotations, a walking field trip to Cypress Grove park (thank you, Mr. O’Connor and Mrs. Kwok, for walking with us; and thank you, Mrs. Fang, for driving the student lunch bags over!), signed yearbooks, cheered for either the teachers or the 6th graders during the annual kickball game (teachers won!), took our last day of school photos, cheered for the promoting 6th graders, had a pizza party, and had our last special play time with our PK Buddies. Check out this great video compilation created by Mrs. Kwok (thank you so much!).
Binder portfolios were officially sent home today— they contain countless memories and the evidence of your child’s hard work since the start of the school year. Take some time to go through the work with your child, and ask them to tell you about what they remember from the assignment.
It’s hard to believe that a whole school year has already passed. It was such a spectacular year, and I will miss this class very much. I hope each family has a wonderful summer break. We will see you all back as fourth graders in July!
