Dear 2024 - 2025 Third Graders,
It has been a fantastic year! We have done so many wonderful things this year. We have had the History of Orange County play, Living Museum, Simutown, and many more memorable projects. I hope you have enjoyed the year as much as I have. I loved getting to know each one of you; and I loved watching you grow. If I had to choose my favorite third grade memory of the year, it would have to be every moment that I witnessed a student demonstrating Perseverance during lessons. And with initiative as our value theme of the year, it was important to me that my students learned how to take the first step in accomplishing their tasks and goals. It will be an important value for the rest of your life.
Thank you for persevering and trying your best in class. Even though there were many challenges in third grade, each of you demonstrated that you can be a LEADer. I hope you continue to do the same in fourth grade next year. There will be many new things to learn and some things might not be easy. But if you remember your Woodbury values such as taking the initiative, exhibiting respect, and showing perseverance, you will be able to accomplish many things! I loved our class, and I will miss you all. It has been the best school year!
Love, Mrs. Dyer
